Ive got one dispite having three under 4 in the past and no double, just a board.

Im now preg with no4 and for practical reasons thought a may need one but dont expect to use it all the time.

dd1 will be 5 nearly6
dd2 4
ds1 just2
then new arrival, first three walk well, but there are alot to keep an eye on.

Managed to get a ex cond p&t for 100quid Smile but dont have a cocoon, will the newborn be ok without? dont want to spend as im not sure how long we will use the double.

Also ive seen people with a sort of weather sheild flap that covers the exposed area at the back where you take the newborn in/out...seems a good idea esp if windy etc, but i cant seem to find one anywhere when i googeld just got raincovers!

I managed fine without a cocoon - just used a head hugger and buggy snuggle. The other bit is sometimes called a rear view window, they come with the buggies when new, however Groovy Style do sell them in their spares section for the sport for a tenner

before you race out and get one, work out if you have a sport v1 or v2 as the v1 back flap is held on the back of the pushchair using velcro and the v2 is held on using toggles

and here sells both shop.philandteds.com/parts Smile

we had no cocoon and it was fine, we just swaddled baby in our own blankets

Good point thank you. Have no idea what it is tbh will have to get it out and c he I can tell. I'm pretty sure it's the sport? Bought it on a whim just incase war very early pregnancy at the time.
