Hi, anyone know the answer to this? what is the difference between v1 and v2 and is one better than the other? Thanks heaps!

Hi, i have owned many p&t models and the sport is the best, however i have only owned the v1, but i think the only difference is the folding mechanism is slightly different and i think it has an auto lock, as apossed to the little webbing strap, tbh they are pretty much the same and i would not let it bother me as to which i got, i never locked mine shut, hth

Is the folding mechanism easier on the v2? I have only had an ANCIENT Phil & teds, about 8 yrs old and it was so hard to fold...

all i can tell you is the sport v1 is very easy to fold and would think the sport v2 would be just as easy, as i have not heard other wise and have found ALL p&t easy to fold apart from the kiwi which is a bloody night mere!!!!!!
