I'm looking at the iCandy cherry with the maxi cosi pebble car seat and wondered how much to pay? I've had a quote and want to see if it's a good price.
It includeds:
Stroller
Carry cot
Rain cover for both
Car seat
Car seat adaptors
Parasol and clip
Changing bag
& footmuff

Thanks

Have you compared it to the RRPs on iCandy's website? I believe there is little room for maneuver on the iCandy prices. The non-iCandy bits can be reduced a bit more though.

That's not helpful at all is it?! Grin

These are RRP's from the iCandy website:

Cherry Stroller - £320.00
Cherry Carrycot - £155.00
Cherry Superfleece Luxury Footmuff - £80.00
Lifestyle Changing Bag - £55.00
Cherry Parasol - £25.00
Cherry Maxi Cosi Group 0 Car Seat Adaptors - £30.00
A Maxi Cosi car seat is usually £100-150 depending on which model it is and colour
I think the raincovers come with the stroller and carrycot so don't have a separate RRP.

So that would be about £765-815 depending on the car seat.

I wouldn't bother with a parasol. They are all nigh on useless but look pretty. Look at the iCandy Palm or a similar all over sunshade if you think you need one. The raincovers are included.

I bought an icandy cherry last in May 2010.

Stroller
Carrycot
Footmuff
Changing Bag
Rain Cover
Maxi Cosi Pebble Car Seat
Car Seat Adaptors

I paid £700, bought it at a local independent nursery shop.

Although retailers can't show prices on their websites it is worth visiting in store. Often they can do a deal or add extras. If you have been quoted a price then another stockist will often price match.

Princessandapea · 23/01/2012 17:34

Thanks for all your replies. I've been quoted £700 for all the bits I wanted so I think it's a good price from what you have all said :)

I think so, especially as there's very little movement on price for iCandy products. Smile

Good price, I would, however, suggest the parasol and footmuff are a waste of money, the John Lewis own brand footmuff fits and it costs about £15 (rather than £70+ for the branded one) and the parasol is just crap. If you could haggle any lower without them, great, if not, you might as well take them.

I ordered it today, I managed to get her down to £690 and I'm very happy with this as I went for the more expensive car seat. Now I've just got to wait for it to arrive!

Thanks for all your advice :)

Thanks for the reassurance. I do like to have everything matching, I can't wait for it to arrive so i can see it all together. My sister has the apple and she got a lot of use out of her parasol for both babies. Let's just hope we actually get some sun this year so I can try mine out :)
