Hello, I want something stylish as have hoofed around an old phil and teds for years. I want something for my final fourth baby and will be 2 year old in a single with buggy board set up. I keep reading that the icandy is the thing to have but is it better than the cameleon? How? (I'll keep the trashed workhorse philteds for when I have longer walks and need the 2 seats). So this is really a single plus bboard question. Thanks

I have no experience with the icandy as im not too keen tbh, but i used a bugaboo cam for my ds for 3 years and LOVED it! Mine was the older model though as I got it in 2006, but it was just fab so easy to push I walk alot so used it daily and im about to get it out of the attic as im expecting again and I cant wait. My only problem is that everyone has them now Grin so I want something different aswell.

I havent used a buggy board with mine but my friend has and it is difficult to walk behind as it sticks out quite abit but all buggy boards do i think.

I don't think you could put a buggyboard on any iCandys. I don't mean physically, I mean that they're not designed for it and it'll invalidate the warranty.

You can put a buggyboard on the Cameleon though, so I'd just go for that. I have the very similar, but more basic, Bugaboo Gecko and it's absolutely lovely to push. I have no experience of the buggyboard though.

Have you looked at the UppaBaby Vista? They get absolute rave reviews and they do the PiggyBack board to go on the back. You could also get the RumbleSeat if you wanted to have a seat option for the 2 year old. It can just pop in the basket when you don't need it.

Agreed - you arent supposed to add a buggy board to an iCandy. Their rear axles are not designed to take the additional weight. I agree with Hypatia all round. The Cameleon would be the best option for a buggy board but the Uppababy Vista is much better spec than the Cam, you get more for your money including a beautiful carrycot, and you have Rumble seat and piggyback board options, so you could always sell your P&Ts!
