abc zoom double anyone?

this german design zoom double. does anyone have any experience with it? is it any good for toddler and newborn?

Tiggy was told by two different retailers that they wouldn't sell her one because they have so many issues with them. And having had a Kolcraft Contours tandem which is very similar, I wouldn't want it because of the length and weight. Going up and down slopes wasn't easy at all. I would only use it for level ground in wide open spaces.

Yes, I tried to buy one, and two retailers (both know me pretty well) said they wouldn't want me to spend my money on them. One said they had just had a repair done for someone and it had been over £100 for something relatively minor and the other just said he's not had good experiences with them and tries not to sell them now. I believe there's only a 6 month warranty on them. I am sure someone will be along to say they have had theirs for 3 years with no issues. But I will take the word of two retailers who I trust.

Length wise, its not too dissimilar to the City Select - I had the two side by side at one point. But when you look at the Zoom, there are rivets everywhere and all round the finish isn't that good. Its a while since I saw it, but I remember being quite put off by it. But it does look very smart in the photos!!
