Evening all, after much deliberation i have decided on the vista as the pram of choice. I have found plenty of 2011 models but I am looking to purchase the 2012 version. Does anyone know who stocks these yet?
Many thanks

interesting from their fb page!
Janine, when we went from 2010 to 2011 model (the USA are making the 2010 to 2012 step in one go) we got a new chassis, 'Breezy' carry cot hood and new seat hood frame. Also, for the UK only, carrycot went to overnight sleeping with a ventilated base. The 2012 model has additional recline position on the seat but still only suitable from approx 6 months to the EU standard and a lower seat back height but adjustable hood to give the same headroom as the 2011 model.

shame they are making the seat back smaller as i love that about ours!

This is the cheapo one (also in Lindsey at this price) but it's only a 3 position recline one. I haven't clicked through all of them to work out which ones are which versions.

I have just ordered one from amazon US, it would seem that the Cole was only released in 2011.

"What are the new features of the 2011 VISTA as compared to the 2010 model?
There are no new features on the 2011 VISTA. We have updated the stroller with 2 new color fashions, Lindsey (wheat) and Cole (slate)"

They also say it has 4 positions depending on your outlook.

"" What are the recline angles for the seat positions on the 2011, 2010 and 2009 VISTA?

VISTA Seat Recline Angles:

Position 0 = 15 degrees (NEW as of 2010)

Position 1 = 30 degrees

Position 2 = 45 degrees

Position 3 = 60 degrees"

Won't arrive till 1st week of Feb, so all will be revealed then.

Just to let you know that the Baby Barn Pram &Nursery Center at. Marton Warwickshire have the upper baby vista . I was very impressed they were very helpful with all there products. And were interested in finding the right system for me. Rather than some of the other shops who just want to sell you anything . The staff are friendly and make sure the carseat fits your car correctly, and try all the wheels in your car boot . They store the goods free of charge until your due date. So that takes the worry of were to store it and my mum was pleased as she says I should not have pram at home superstition and all that. So would highly recommend. A visit to them if your looking for honest, helpful advise in a very welcoming environment . As even as busy as they were when I visited they even offered my dad ( who was fed up of being dragged round pram shops a cup of tea which pleased him. So I had lovely day and got helpful advise and a stress free day of pram shopping :-)

I don't see how you all have the 2012 version when it's not even available here in the US until mid-late February Confused

Tiggywunkle · 30/01/2012 09:34

It is here in the UK now. It arrived about 9 days ago. Have a look at the UppababyUK Facebook page.

I emailed Uppababy on 18th January asking about whether the 2012 model is available and why certain retailers were saying they were selling the new model already. I just received this reply today:

^Thank you for your e-mail. We will be launching the 2012 Vista during February and some Retailers are already displaying the new model in certain colours. However, there are not so many upgrades on the model. The main changes in the UK are an additional seat recline position (still from approx 6 months) and a lower seat back but with extending hood (overall maximum height same as current model). These are available in Jake(Black),Olivia (Pink)and Mica (silver) on carbon frame. All other colours available on silver frame only - Lindsey (Beige), Cole (Blue), Carlin (Green) and Denny (Red).

Retail Price: £599.00

Please find a list of the UK stockists on our website.

We have a stand at The Baby Show Exhibition at Excel on 24th - 26th February 2012 where you will be able to view/order the Vista.^

we too have chosen the Uppababy Vista as our chosen pushchair - we initially looked at it as it's Which? No 1 best buy at the moment.

We have tried to order from the US via Amazon.com, to save quite a bit of money, but it says it won't ship to our UK address - can anyone help??? Thanks :)

Crinklesc · 22/07/2012 12:07

I know this message string is a bit old but hopefully you can help me! I want to buy an Uppababy Vista from the US but can you let me know, what did you pay for shippping/how did you get it here? Any US Amazon seller is charging £350+ for shipping making it overall no cheaper. Also, did you find there are any differences to the UK model e.g. could you get the Maxi Cosi car seats to fit? Hope you can help!
