Peach blossom or City Select?
PurpleWithaBlueBun · 19/11/2011 21:12
I have tried out the peach in the shop and think it is great. I haven't pushed the select or seen it in the flesh but I am wondering if any of you have tried out both and what you thought?

I have had both. In a lot of ways I preferred the City Select - large seats, better seating combinations, hand brake, easy access basket, small fold etc. I hoped the fact it had large seats, big weight limits meant it would last us until the end of our double days. It got used loads. I didn't understand why people thought it was heavy because I had no problems at all. But eventually at the point my son was around 9 months old, and DD was 2.5 years old, it reached the point where my arms were hurting so much that I admitted defeat and was forced to stop using it. To be fair, the current Peach Blossom (which we also owned) would not have lasted much longer with the smaller lower seat and recline. But I am fortunate enough as you know to have the new Peach Blossom on trial and six months after the BJCS became unusable, the new Peach Blossom is still going strong, and is still easy to push even on challenging walks / surfaces. I can't recommend the new version (not out yet) highly enough. It's fantastic. I woud definitely get the current Peach Blossom and change the Blossom kit later when they come out.
