A few months ago I got a bargain of a mutsy urban four rider, wanted something big wheeled and rugged for the winter walks we do for our petite almost 3yo --who hates cold and walking in it--

Its beautiful and used twice thanks to a very ungrateful daughter in law snubbing a pils gift.

We paid £50 for chasis, deluxe seat, deluxe coseytoes, raincover, satchel bag and buggyboard.

I love it.

Recently discovered dc3 will arrive early june so decided we'll use it for this baby, however as wonderful as it is for walking I need a nippier (sp) design for town and school run. And also the 'swivel' can't be used with a buggy board which ill use for dd.

Still with me?

I've spotted some swivel wheels on ebay, that claim to fit the front of this buggy, just wondered if anyones tried this?

I don't want a different buggy and the 'lite' frames are too expensive since we want to buy the carrycot aswell.

Any advice greatfully received :)

I had an urban rider and bought the swivel wheels but never actually used them as we fitted a Duo seat and you can't use the swivel wheels with that seat. So although I never used them we did have them and they did fit. I really wish they had been useable with the Duo seat as the turning circle without them is huge! But I loved the bouncy suspension and the Urban Rider was loads of fun!

Thank you twiggy, that's great, I am so pleased as I'm totally in love with it but as you said the turning circle is huge and was such an issue we were debating if it was sensible as our only pram for new dc.

Ill be off to ebay now Grin

There's quite a few places listed if you have a search. www.just4baby.co.uk/acatalog/Mutsy_Swivel_Wheels_for_Urban_Rider.html is one that seems the cheapest. Anklebiters direct is another. There's some good photos of the wheels in situ too if you search.

Thank you so much for your help.

I'm actually ridiculously pleased by this! Grin
