When did you turn pushchair from back -> forward facing

I have the Stokke Xplory and I'm not sure when I should be turning DD round to forward facing.

She is 10 months, between 10 and 11kg I think and facing me in the pushchair at the moment. She is looking around and rarely looks at me.

I must admit I love chatting to her and catching her eye so that she beams at me but I was wondering if I'm supposed to have turned it round by now and if not then when?

Just try it :) If you don't like it, turn it back round again :)
My eldest at 3 has just decided she wants to parent face again but never bothered as an older baby / toddler - she wanted to see forwards.

Never turned my xplory round. DD has stopped using it at 2.3, but was always happy to face me. When we've borrowed other pushchairs, I have to constantly bend down to listen to her. Most awkward.

my dd is 3 and she still faces me, i do ask her before we go out which why she wants to be, and she nearly always asks to face me

Didn't have a specific age...We've always had loads of pushchairs and some only face forwards...If it's really windy or raining i often turn DD around so she's protected from the worst of the weather.

There's no time you should turn them round. It just depends on the child and their parents. I can't imagine choosing to turn my daughter round for ages to be honest. She's 14 months now. I think we both prefer being able to see each other.

I prefer having DS facing me - DP has him forward facing. DS doesn't seem bothered (15 months).

we do a mixture - DD is 27 months. I usally ask her which way she wants to do. If we are pottering round the shops she faces me and chats, if we are off on an exciting long walk she faces forwards and provides a running commentray on the screner, for sleeping she'll usually face me and doze off with the seat recline.

Great, thank you. My feeling was to have her facing me for as long as possible but I wasnt sure if weight wise on the stokke you're supposed to turn them round by a certain time.

no you don't have too turn them round weight wise on a stokke, the weight limit will be for either way, in all honesty i always thought my stokke looked strange facing the other way and always had the seat facing me
