Out N About Nipper double big enough?

I'm sure this question has been done to death, but I couldn't find the exact answer I was looking for in search.
We have an iCandy Peach Blossom twin for our 7 month old twins, but I am struggling with lifting them in and out and find the bottom seat really tricky to slide them in and out of - especially when the one above is asleep! Anyway we are thinking of getting a side by side to save my back, we like the nipper - we know it turns on a Sixpence and is light etc, but what I really want to ask is - is the nipper really going to last? Will it be big enough for my twins when they are 3 (bearing in mind they are on 91st centile at the mo!), is it not too narrow?
We've already made one expensive mistake with the iCandy and don't want to make another!!

I think the Nipper is one pf the few doubles which you will be able to push your twins in at three. It's incredibly light to push - the wind even blew my two heavy children along! The only issue I had re age is that my almost three year old (well over the 90th centile) could only fit one foot on the footplate because it's triangular shaped but her having one (or even both feet hanging off was not an issue because she was high enough off the ground and well away from the wheel. Height and width wise she was fine even with the liner in. Given you have babies I would recommend the new version because on the old version there's really only two recline positions done by a difficult clip (you can choose one position but the second is lie flat. To do any more involves tons of fiddling around) The new version apparently has a toggle recline which will be much better!

we got a second hand nipper for £25. it's fine for our (9th centile) 12 month olds, and we bought it from someone who had 2 year old twins. they were boys and seemed quite big to me. she was only selling because she was emigrating, so it must have worked ok for them.

ds1 was out of a buggy by 2 though, so you may not need it till they're 3. do check whether it would fit on a bus if you use them, it will only fit on ones round here that have front and rear doors (so I can wheel on at back). that's the only negative I have with it.
