I am getting very worried about the double buggy and how it will limit me getting out and about. I dont drive and depend on buses to get everywhere. I am expecting number two (with a 20 month gap) and have been debating double buggies for a while...

None seem to tick all the boxes, but I just dont understand how doubles fit. yesterday I was on the bus with my bugaboo bee and a lady with phil&teds could not get into the other space, got stuck by the door and everyone was cross with her for blocking the way.

Now that winter is coming walking everywhere will be so unpleasant. Please tell me which double is easiest for transport??

I was going to say re the weight limits, the b dual in America has a weight limit of 20kg up top and 15kg below. Probably the only reason the ones sold in the uk say 15kg is because they only have to be tested to 15kg. Testing to over that limit costs more so lots of companies don't bother. I'd say the b dual could be a contender. It seems very big but its footprint isn't as big as many.

If I were you I'd try the sling and bee as long as possible. What about getting just a basic side by side? They're not the best in doubles but relatively light and fold up reasonably small. Something like that would be fine if you're just dealing with flat pavements and the park.

I had a 16 mth gap between Ds and Dd1 and a three year gap between dd1 and dd2, I have a bugaboo and a city mini double. I think in your case keep the bee and put baby in sling for bus use, then buy a buggy board and put baby into bee and your little girl can stand on the buggy board? That way when you get onto the bus you only have a single pram to find space for?
