i have a P&T sport and a smart and DC2 is due late next may. After a brief flirtation with an icandy pear i am have been lusting after a P&T Verve but i think my lust has just moved on. That looks so blooming lovely. I want it. i want it NOW.

the Verve does look lovely. The Promenade looks lovelier still. Be interested to see how it does off road (park etc) though. It looks quite urban iykwim. just got to convince DH that spending around £800 is a good idea though when i have a perfectly good Sport that can be converted to a double Hmm.

the sport is good, but no recline as such on the back seat, but there is more room between the seats, but the verve would be ideal as the back seat reclines and it is so much nicer to push and i now use the brake, never did on my sport as i found it difficult to get to

i bought the promenade while in Australia in January. Unfortunately, I am hugely disappointed and regret this purchase.
Within 1min of sitting in the brand new pram, my 20 month old had sunk her teeth into the foam bar across the toddler seat leaving a hole and several teeth marks sliced into the foam. I had to use a cover from my previous pram to prevent her from biting off anymore bits and choking.
She's not particularly tall and already her head touches the top of the canopy and feet hang over the metal edge of the seat with that edge pressing into the back of her legs.
Folding the pram is quite difficult too and almost impossible while being pregnant.
This pram is impossible to steer. So difficult to manoeuvre, turning a struggle especially in shops while keeping in a straight line just as difficult. There's no way I can push this pram with one hand which as most mothers know is essential at many times.
The pram is also quite wide compared to other phil and teds models which has made getting into doors a struggle.
The rain cover does not fit unless my 20 month old sits with her knees bent right up.
I have used the pram for 2 months now and wonder how much longer the wheels will last. They already look very worn.
I'm yet to have my second baby and fear that the extra weight will make this pram unusable.
Hugely disappointed and regretting this purchase of such an expensive pram.
