Phil & Teds vs other inline doubles

I'm due to have DS2 in January, when DS1 will be just over 2. I'm going to need to change my Bugaboo Chameleon and almost everyone I know switches to a P&T with their second and I've assumed I'd do the same.

I went to John Lewis today and managed to try the P&Ts Explorer, which seemed super-maneouverable. But it was just so busy in the shop that I lost heart and got a headache so didn't get to make any comparisons.

My wishlist is:

Inline
Easy to maneouvre
Good for both baby and toddler to sleep in
Good for tall/chunky children (DS1 is a bit of a giant)
Decent brake
Relatively lightweight
Smart looking, not too bling
Decent shopping basket

I don't really care about:

Foldability (I can't remember the last time I folded the Bugaboo)
Budget

Help me please!!

i have the p&t verve and love it, i think it is the best model they do, i push around a 5 year old and an almost 3 year old

What is it about the Verve that you like? Are the four wheels better than 3?

Hi, 4 wheels are better than 3, more sturdy, the back seat reclines [the whole seat not just the fabric], it is so easy to push, even with the weight i have to carry, the front seat is huge, the main hood moves up the frame to give more head room. you can leave child in the back when front seat is empty it won't tip. i have owned a sport, vibe, E3 and the verve, the verve is the best

although light weight it is not, light to push, heavy to carry when folded and put in car, but its not bad, i can lift it into the back of a seven seater and it folds with doubles seat still on and free stands when folded, which is a bonus, i also rarely fold my pushchair, but this is so easy and it free stands i find i do, my cam never gets folded takes up less room under stairs set up

Do consider the BJ City Select. They're really great, especially for larger children - height adjustable, very roomy seats :). And the seats are identical, so no one gets the 'short stick' - comfy, good vew for both (unlike the P&T) :).
I think it ticks all your boxes. The only thing to bear in mind is that it can feel a bit heavy going up a steep hill, but generally feels quite light and is very maneuverable, esp. for a double :). The options it gives you are ally fab ;).
