Are they as rickety as the other bugaboos?? my sil has a chameleon or frog cnt remember and the handle doesnt sem very solid.

really really wanted one aswell, but google bugaboo bee wheel faults and it really put me off

Lots of people having wheely bad trouble with their bees currently...

My advice is find an alternative - I've got one and wouldn't have another. The wheels drive me mad and the hood offers very little protection. I often wondered why so many people hung a muslin or something similar over it, and now I know why. I'm not even sure that they're that comfortable for a tiny baby.............

If I'm being truthful I was taken in by the adverts and spent more time worrying about the colour than the practicalities. Now that I've used it for a few months I've come to the conclusion that I could have bought something better.

My view is that it does what it's meant to do - it's teeny tiny, manouverable and lightweight with a one piece fold. I am happy as can be about that aspect of it, which was important to me. It has a good basket. I was perfectly happy when baby was new, I'm getting a bit puzzled now that she's 1 yr+ about whether she's comfy and whether there are any adjustments I could or should be doing. (The manual is a bloody outrage.) But I'm still thrilled when I have to heft it.

I love my bee (an original, not a bee+) and my 2 year old is still fine in it. Never had any wheel issue either... Will have to go and google and see what the problem is!

I am getting the new Bee+ wheels on Monday, that are meant to rectify the issue, I will report back here to let you know.

Truthfully, if you end up with one with dicky wheels it is an issue. But its such a fantastic stroller, I really hope they can overcome it.

Have you seen the new Babyzen YoYo? It looks very like a Bee with a teeny tiny fold.

They were jamming and having a life of their own...Caused a nasty accident for someone on this board

It was me, ended up tipping with dd in. Bugaboo have been excellent and taking it it very seriously, as it is mostly a performance issue, rather than safety.

I received a new chassis and more importantly the new wheels on Monday. So far they are much better. When pushed empty and at speed there is still no shimmy.

If I were buying one I'd be making sure I got one with a 2011 manufacture date on. If you do get shimmy they will send you washers/new wheels straight away.

We were very unlucky, and I'll update on the wheels if I do encounter and issue, but , touch wood, they are vastly improved,

I have loved my bee, the handle doesn't move like the cameleon does. I am waiting for a new chassis as mine has started to rattle (works fine) but Bugaboo are sending me a new one anyway. I have had mine for over a year now and it is great.

We had an all black Cameleon that was getting heavy, so we trade it in for a lovely Bee+ - no faults here, well and truly love it.

I bought my bee+ in Feb I am yet to use it, as dd is still on 10weeks old and not keen on it for a newborn.

I seriously hope the wheels aren't an issue with mine, as it will be my only pushchair when i give up using micralite with carrycot..hmmm maybe i should test it out now?

Yes i'd test it out, so at least you've got time if it does need new wheels before you need to use it properly.
