I'm expecting DC1 in a few weeks and, though we've been given a travel system by SIL its a bit on the antiquated side (nearly 14 years old), is rather err frilly and dated. I didn't like it at first sight, but have really come to loathe it over the past few months... 
So, I'm looking to buy something a bit newer, but second hand (DP is really keen on using an older one and not being part of the 'yummy mummy' trendy pushchair brigade 
) - what would you recommend?
It needs to be fairly cheap - under £150 and have both a carry cot and pushchair facility. Though I'm planning to use a sling as much as possible, it would be good to have something that goes on the bus easily and in and out of the car without too much hassle... and perhaps compatible with a buggy board should we have a DC2.
I really like the icandy pushchairs, what else should I be looking at?
