maxi cosi cabriofix compatible pram frames

Can anyone tell me which frames are compatible with this car seat? My pram, Britax B smart, doesn't seem to be compatible. I don't think there are adapters for it. I would be buying the frame used from ebay and would prefer something compact. Any ideas?

why not buy the britax babysafe seat? that'll be compatible with the pushchair and is (i believe) safer than the MC, and has a higher back so is longer lasting?

I already have the car seat (long story, had no choice!)plus the britax chassis takes up my entire boot so looking for ideas for something smaller!

We have a maxi cosy and have just ordered a Babystyle Oyster, after lots of research - it's very affordable, and Which gave it a good rating. We got the carry cot too and it comes with allsorts of bits and bobs that swung it for us. Feels great, and folds up small too.

You can also get the Mama's and Papa's Sola for a slightly higher price.

If you want to splash out, the iCandy also works, as does various Bugaboo styles - we thought they were all just too expensive though.

You will need to buy adaptors, which are around £25+.

I believe if you buy Oyster adaptors then your Maxi Cosi will happily fit onto your Britax chassis.
Beyond that look at the Quinny Zapp and Buzz, the Baby Jogger range, probably the City Mini, Maxi Cosi pushchairs and there are loads more but more expensive eg Mountain Buggy, TFK, iCandy, bugaboo etc.

Micralite range. I love my micralite and I've had it for nearly 5 years. The only buggy I've ever had.

ParkerRocks · 05/09/2011 21:41

Thanks everyone!

Tiggywunkle, I think you are right about oyster adapters! Just compared them with my carrycot and they look to be the same!

Mine fits my P&T (not compact like you want thou)
And on my first wheels city elite - these go dirt cheap 2nd hand xx

You can get the oyster adapters here for £15 + £5 P&P (or collect in solihull). Or here for £18.95 + £3.99 P&P or free if you spend over £29.99.

Or I just did a search and loads came up that haven't been mentioned here yet. Have a look here.
