BJCM four-wheeler- worth the extra £80?- safety last min wobble

I'm just about to buy a BJCM three- wheeler and having a last minute wobble. Do they really tip? Is the extra money for a four-wheeler worth it in your opinion?

I'd be buying the bassinet for the first few months so would this be safer on the four-wheeler?

have you looked at the britax b agile which is due out in sept, i prefer it to the bjcm, it has better features, ie the basket is easier to get to, the secondary lock is better, it has an auto lock, look at this, the one due for sale in th uk will be a 4 wheel version

Honestly - if you are putting the car seat or bassinet on top, or are pushing one handed maybe whilst holding a toddlers hand, then I would get the four wheeled version. I am about to swap my 3 wheel for the 4.

I bought my 3 wheeler BJCM a couple of months ago and love it. DD has been in it since about 2.5 months and to be honest if you were having a summer baby I'd say not to bother with the bassinet. However, I think it would probably be necessary for a newborn in the colder months (although you might be happy with a footmuff and the horizontal position if you can accept your PFB facing away from you).

I have used it one handed whilst on the phone etc and haven't had any tipping issues and nor has DH. My mum and MIL get on fine with it. I'd make sure you get the 2011 version - I got my from very.co.uk as it was the only place I could find the green one in stock at the time.

Only point I'd note is that whilst the underneath basket is spacious it's a bit difficult to get to. This works gone for me as I only put the odd thing in there and don't expect to get a weekly shop in - it also means things don't fall out.

The 4 wheeler wasn't available when I bought mine, but even if it had been I'd have still gone for the 3 wheeler.

I haven't tried the 3 wheel version, but have recently bought the 4-wheeler and love it! I much prefer it to the bugaboo cameleon I had before - it's solidly built and feels very sturdy indeed. Doesn't feel in the slightest like it will tip or twist on bumpy pavements, going up kerbs or doing sharp turns. Even handles my heavy 3 year old jumping on it to kiss his little brother!

Meant to say I got mine from baby equipment complete who had a very good price at the time. I collected from the shop but I think they also have free delivery.

I have the 3 wheel version. I'm using it with 3y old. So no basinette or car seat. It's not at all tippy. :)
