Cleaning a 2nd hand Maclaren

I've just bought an old one to take on holiday for a bargainous £35! It's a bit grubby (which I expected). Any suggestions on cleaning up the fabric, especially the hood? Fairy liquid and a nailbrush?

I put mine in the shower and scrubbed it!

i put seat and basket in washing machine and scrubed hood in bath, put all covers back on while wet and stood set up in hallway to dry, i always put covers back on wet as it pulls out the creases and they will go back on easier. i used wash liquid

I'm not sure if this would work with a maclaren but I had a ziko frankie and put all the fabrics including the hood in the washing machine and jet washed the frame. Then just left it outside to dry.
