Maclaren Triumph or Silver Cross Fizz?

It is definitely one or the other! Have loved our 2nd-hand Bugaboo Bee but now that ds is 13 months and getting heavy, carrying him, buggy and shopping up 3 flights of stairs is becoming off-putting to leaving house more than once a day.

Any strong feelings for either candidate?

The Bee Plus will almost certainly be far easier to push than either of those...I've got a Quest and i don't rate it at all...I briefly had the Silver Cross Pop via a swap, and it was the most awful buggy i've pushed...The other woman got the far better deal.

Thanks, the Bee is brilliant to push, and I will probably carry on using it but it's just too heavy to carry up and down the stairs now with toddler and shopping etc.

Both the Maclaren Triumph and Silver Cross Fizz are about 4.5/5.5 kg and the reviews for both are good, I just can't decide and was hoping someone who has used either could help sway me in one direction or other.

I just want to be able to pop in and out without being put off by having to lug the buggy!

Silver Cross baby pushchairs are wonderful. The Fizz, is certainly my choice.

I loved my fizz. Hate Maclarens with a passion.

Well, since the brown fizz is my preferred choice (sounds like a drug euphemism) and on sale at John Lewis, am quite glad that so far thumbs up for that one.

I just kind of thought.....Maclaren...best quality...etc....didn't really like the fiddly seatbeat lock on it though.

I have both, hate the triumph with a passion due to the reclined seat, quest is better but hate that too. I love macs (xt is fab) as is volo but though the seat is slouchey no recline.

I have just bought a fizz in humbug for on holiday to go a long with my MB (think coastal walks/beaches in Cornwall) and was very pleasantly suprised, ok nothing like a bee+ (my everyday buggy) but a nice little buggy my son was very happy in it.

I can do you some comparison pics if you like, not sure what pics are current on my profile, have volo and triumph (for sale!!)a quest, xt, mb and bee+ so fire anything at me!!!

carrielou2007 · 18/08/2011 16:33

oops and of course the fizz!!

JenniferCanesten · 22/08/2011 09:49

Thanks CarrieLou! I think I will get the brown Fizz. It needs to recline as ds has naps in the buggy but was worried about the mesh sides in case poor little pfb got a cold face in the winter Blush.

I will still be using the Bee as well though, it's just an arse to carry up and down 3 flights of stairs several times a day!
