Phill and Teds E3?

I think it's the E3 or it might be the Sport, it's 4/5 years old.

My friend has one that her kids have outgrown and I have a 2 1/2 year old and will also have a newborn by the end of the week.

She has offered it to me for £70. Is it worth it? It has the doubles kit and cocoon, a raincover.
It's not in fantastic condition and the shopping tray is ripped but I have repaired it for her in the past so know how to do it.

So, what do you think. I don't NEED it. I have a big feck of Mamas and Papas old pram, with a toddler seat And a Mamas and Papas pramette with a buggy board and hadn't even thought of a double.

But will I kick my self if I say no?

all i can really say is they do tend to last, mine has been through it a bit, over loaded, 6 year old climding in the back and sitting on the footwell over the front wheel and it is still going strong. they are very handy to have as are smaller and prob easier to push than what you have, £70 is a good price as long as it is fully working, me i would get it, you've seen it in action so i guess you would know if it had any faults.

I think you could easily sell it on for about that.I have an E3 and I'm hoping to get about £100 for it when i sell it next year but mine is in good condition.

Thanks both of you. I know it is a good price for what it is. I just hadn't contemplated buying a double but would hate to tell her no and then wish I had taken it.
I did think I could sell it on as I know they keep their value. It will needs good scrub too before the baby goes anywhere near it.

i know the seat won't fit into a washing machine because of the rods, but know people have jet washed them in the garden and they have come up really well, so i would wait till a nice day and scrub it out side. or get handwashing in your bath and hang it out to drip dry :o

The seat will fit in the washing machine. I curved it round and shoved it in . The hygiene hazard is IMO the cocoon. I didn't try washing that as I didn't use it for dc3
