My parents live in the deep, dark countryside and are planning to get a second pram to keep at theirs, ideally second hand. It will need to cope with mud and possibly snow....

What do pushchair afficionados recommend they keep an eye out for?

A second hand mountain buggy, or mothercare urban detour three wheeler or an instep nipper 360, or a baby jogger classic or elite.
There's a lot to choose from, so you should be able to find something that suits your budget.

Agree with Monkeys.

Urban Detours were fab off roaders and go for pennies on Ebay, Nippers are also good because the seats are huge and they are very lightweight, Mountain Buggies are great too as they are solid.

Urban Detour - 6hrs to go bidding at £10 with £10 postage., I reckon £50 and it'd be yours :)

Urban Detour - BIN £60 inc postage, footmuff and raincover!
