Do I need a footmuff for a Bee+?

I've finally got DH to bite the bullet and order our Bee+ this weekend for DC1 due in August. It's coming from John Lewis on a price match promise deal which doesn't include a footmuff. I've ordered one separately but, as baby will be in the cocoon at first (how long for? I'm thinking 4-5 months) do I need to buy the footmuff now? It'll be around Christmas once baby will be out of cocoon so it must need something. What do you recommend?

Snunkie do nice ones but you need to order well in advance as there's a booking system now.
