Anyone used Maclaren carrycot inserts?

Have been looking at double pushchairs and think I have decided on the Maclaren Techno (have always loved my previous maclarens).
Will be using the pushchair for a newborn and 18 month old and was wondering if the soft Maclaren carrycots will fit (they say they are for the Maclaren Techno XT).
Anyone got any experience with them?
