I need double advic please.

I am currently 26 weeks with number 3 and number 2 is only 8 months .

So a double is unavoidable as I can't see DS being happy to walk everywhere at 11 months lazy if you ask me.

Anyway, having only just bought a nice pram for DS I didn't think I would be looking at this again so soon.

What is the best double around, haven't got a huge budget, boot is a medium sized estate boot at the moment. walk the school run and to the local farm stall, but there are no shops locally so do need to drive out of the village, could also do with one that is good for off roading as I do have a dog that selfishly wants walks and he likes long runs on the local field.

Have no idea what is on offer have been staring at a couple of doubles, but haven't yet seen one that I am overally taken by or overally scared of.

For that age gap you're better off with a tandem rather than side by side. Side by side you will have unever weight distribution.

I disagree, you haves small age gap, therefore in many ways side by side would be better for you in many ways - more than that, the facts you would like to go off road, have a school run all year round and an estate car all suggest that a double is sensible. I dont know what exactly your budget is would send you off to look at the Mountain Buggy Duet and Duo, the Out n About Nipper 360, the Easywalker Sky Duo, the Baby Jogger Elite and the Twinner Twist Duo. You can add a buggy board to all of these in some shape or form. As for tandems, the Phil and Teds (but not the Verve) are good off road and the B-Dual handles well off road (grass, sand) There is a new Mountain Buggy inline on the way but they are apparently modifying things and until I know whether there is a recline on it, I would be loathe to suggest it for a newborn. Have a look at Best Buggy as they are mainly doubles and tandems on there and you can compare pushchairs side by side on screen. The prices are on there too. But a lot boils down to personal preference, but you will certainly get a better off roader buying a side by side.

Lol I purposely left it off my list because it would require a huge budget :o

I like the donkey, but having this much wanted but unplanned baby we need to rethink the car, and the timescale for the extension, so budget has to stretch to alot and it isn't that big to start with.

I liked the icandy pear, but again it is a bit steep on the purse strings so have scrubbed it off my list.
I am leaning towards the out n about going to look at one at weekend as I haven't seen one in the flesh, but it looks ideal and not overally expensive.

It also means that when DS is happily walking, I get to use his current pushchair, which is only been used for 8 months, and took me months to pick.

Please feel free to suggest more to look at though, I will be looking at weekend.

I looked at pretty much all brands and styles, didn't realise there was so many! Even had a look at the Donkey.
Anyway ended up after talking to the assistant and her persuading us to try a phil and teds even though it was on the list of no nos. Couldn't believe how small it folded comared to others plus it was nice to push and DS seemed to be comfy in the double seat so we have decided to get the phil and teds.
