How can I tell the age of a Mountain Buggy?

Browsing the second hand market, and I know there are some things to look out for to see whether you're getting a pre-2010 model. Can anyone tell me what these signs are?

Also, is it is so bad to get a later one?

okay,on the footplate at each side the newer versions have black guards on them...
they have different MB labels on them,THE OLDEST HAVE A FIXED HANDLE AND wire basket too so...
