holiday buggy? used maclaren or on sale mamas and papas?

I need a buggy for my holiday. Only requirement apart from being light is that it reclines fully as my baby still likes to sleep in the buggy.

I was given a gift certificate to mamas and papas so could get a buggy there for "free" really.... but not many people rate their buggies so high. Wondering if better to get an old maclaren for around 45...

what do you think, buggy experts?

I personally wouldn't buy a new one if you're going on a plane. There are loads of cheap second hand maclarens on ebay.

If you're not going on a plane, there are a few options. Are you near an M&P outlet? They do really good deals. I saw a cybex callisto with carrycot the other day for £75 because it was ex-display!

ive got a cybex onyx from m&p and its fab, i dont know what the issue with m&p strollers is as ive had a few now (one of those very sad pramaholics) and loved them all.
maclarens a lot of the price is to do with the label, people will buy them becasue they are maclaren and at the moment i think they are very overpriced, even second hand unless you buy one that is basically trashed they go for high prices.
