Bugaboo Bee Plus for new born

I bought a Bee Plus when my DD was 14 months (she's now 24 months) and we are considering DC number 2 (well I am, not sure DH is that keen... LOL!) I used a Quinny Buzz for first 12 months but have now sold it and wondered what peoples' experiences have been of using the Bee from birth. I know it says you can with the cocoon but it doesn't lie completely flat as my Buzz carrycot did. Any feedback welcome because I think DH will have a heart attack if I tell him we need to but another pushchair!! Thx

I had my bee plus from birth and I consider it the single best baby purchase of all time.

The cocoon is so soft and cosy and it is basically flat...the incline is so slight you cant even notice it. It has a fab head rest to keep new born in position and then can be removed when baby is bigger. And then the cocoon doubles as a foot muff and can be used for quite a while...I think I lasted about six months with it.. Its also good because it folds down if its warmer out.

My baby slept like a dream in the bee plus and I took her everywhere with me because she slept and because the buggy is sooo light and easy to handle.
