Jane Slalom Reverse Questions!

Anyone got one of these?
I've looked at reviews - and they vary widely - between one poor set of parents who had numerous problems with wheels wearing down - and needing to be replaced 3 x over within a few months -then eventually the chassis needed replacing - and another review saying someones rear wheels were maligned - and the whole buggy had to be returned in the end for inspection...

Everyone else reviewing said they LOVED theirs and how well made it was!

Also Is the seat big enough on this model for a bigger toddler/pre-schooler - and can they still reverse in it at this age (without feet trailing on floor!).....

I looked at getting this, and then decided that they'd had to compromise on quality to do the reverse part, so I got a Mountain Buggy instead.

I just remembered later on after posting this - I DID see a baby in one of these - and the baby looked like it had not a lot of growing room (at only 5m old) in the seat - so I think the seat is too small for a big toddler sadly.
I do like the padding the the way the seat looks but it's not going to be big enough I don't think.
It's really hard to find a good rear facer for a big toddler (who cannot manage 6 miles walk a day).

I have a baby jogger summit XC which is fab - although not a rear facer - but that's about all it can't do, and it was a bit more easy on my budget than the MB (although I might have found a nice MB on ebay if I'd not been so impatient!). I'll stick with what I have for now then.
