BJCM - which raincover and footmuff??

Hello all,

I need to buy a raincover for my BJCM, I've heard the BJ raincover is not great are there any (cheaper) alternatives? Or should i just buy the standard one.

Also which fleecy type footmuff is best for the BJCM, I'm not sure how or where a standard fleece footmuff would attach as I don't want to ruin the net bit at the back.

Many thanks
X

I would buy the standard one. Funnily enough hubby has just opened our single BJCM raincover and said how good it is compared to other raincovers. I know Kooltrade who import Baby Jogger have them made specially in the UK because they are better than the US BJ ones, so I dont know if the reports you have heard are US ones but they are apparently not good. We have had Snunkies and a Buggysnuggle on as cosy toes. The ties do fit easily through the mesh. The new 2011 Buggysnuggles have a slit so you can easily access the close handle, but it's just as easy to put your hand round the side otherwise.

We've got the Baby Jogger rain cover but I don't think it's ever been on the pram. And we live in the west of Scotland! Think it's the combination of huge hood and the Baby Jogger footmuff being water resistant. Love that buggy!

This one fits well.

I also found the that Buggysnuggles fit lovely.
