DC2 due in a couple of months. DS will be 22 months

Will i regret getting a double, would i be better off with a phil and teds that i can convert back to a single once he is walking everywhere?

and i want a second hand one, i'll keep an eye on the boards here, otherwise am i limited to ebay? does anywhere else do second hand pushchairs
?

In love with my out and about double for my 10 week old and 2 and a half year old - can't rate it enough!

I think you would need a double for a 22 month old and a newborn and probably will for 6 months minimum.

Phil and Teds are good if you need an off roader (I used a friend's and did'nt like it though most do), when your DS grows out of it but if not then I'd say the BJCM is a good option as it is so easy to fold and relatively compact.

As for second hand pushchairs, there are always a few on Ebay but do check out the Mumsnet and Netmums for sale forums as well as your local classifieds in the papers and on Gumtree.

Thanks that's really useful. Have to say I'm not keen on the p&t, it seems big and heavy. When we walk we use an ergo for ds and I carried him in a moby sling fir the first 4 months (he hated a pram) so offroad capability not essential

I did look at the nipper but was put off by the sloping seats

The babu jogger Is light, narrow ish and I like the easy folding.

I'll have a look on those sites you've suggested, I've got a little while before I need to sort something out
