M&P Twin Pulse is pretty slim. Front door size was why me friend chose it.

AppleAndBlackberry · 19/04/2011 13:02

I'm not sure you will get a side by side that's narrower than 70cm tbh. The Nipper 360 is the narrowest I could find and that is 77cm. How about a different tandem like the Baby Jogger City Select or the Jane Powertwin?

FriggFRIGG · 19/04/2011 13:20

Im kinda 'done' with tandem, ive tried uh...4,now,they hated them all

Hi. We were looking for a slim side-by-side and ended up with the nipper 360 thinking that it would fit through the front door (just). It turns out that the wheels were ever so slightly too wide when we got it home so we have to unload outside Confused. The buggy is great so we're happy to put up with that for now. We also wanted one that could get the kids out in the forest which kind of discounted alot.

However, the Maclaren Twin Triumph was about as thin as we found at 72cms, the Cosatto You 2 looked cool (74.5cms) and the Graco Duo Sport (76cms) was a little odd looking but would have been great for shopping.

All of them are alot cheaper than the Mountain Buggy, but I suppose like we found, it's the one that ticks the most boxes that wins.

FriggFRIGG · 20/04/2011 22:47

thanks kay Smile
none of those fit though our door...we had the nipper,i used to take the wheels of to bring it in sometimesHmm twas super annoying...but better than hoiking out two sleeping children(they only sleep in the buggy fo naps) and ruining the only peace i getGrin

the MB is very expensive, but i can sell the p&t and some baby stuff, and that will hopefully make up the difference!!

There's only one downside, the Duet is not expected into the UK until June. But its fab. www.bestbuggy.co.uk/category/twins/mountain-buggy-duet/ I have one on order and can't wait to use it!!! The RRP is £680. I would suggest it will have a good resale value later but I have to say I think you will struggle to find a better pushchair other than maybe the Baby Jogger City Select, and possibly the Verve - but that arrives in the UK this week.

suzie38 · 22/04/2011 17:30

But she said she doesn't want tandems anymore as her children don't like them, hence the narrow side by side.

suzie38 · 22/04/2011 17:32

FriggFRIGG...I got my Donkey and i love it!!! Though still love the Vigour i bought, i actually bought 2 as i decided i wanted a cream one, so i'm going to sell the red one soon.

FriggFRIGG · 22/04/2011 17:35

ohhh!! hows the donkey....its wide though, isnt it?!

OP posts:

Great, as i use it as a single it's 60cm wide but because the handle is 60cm you feel it's wider...The Vigour back wheels are 62cm...I won't need it to be a double so that size isn't an issue...Quite bulky folded so do the 2 parter in the car and i push it in head on rather than sideways which works well in a Meriva...Basket's fantastic for all the stuff i take out with me...Plus my customs off the Frog/Cameleon work, hood perfectly, seat liner a bit big but that's better than being too small...Only think i will need to buy is a footmuff as none of the straps detach so be interested how Bugaboo get around this...Hopefully Snunkie will figure it out as well as i know the custom fabrics i want.
