Chicco multiway???

I'm looking to buy a stroller to augment the buggy collection! Anyone had one, got one, like them? Why? I like it's size and ease of pushing from what I can tell in the shop, my dd2 is very big at 10months and the seat looks so wide and comfy, also like the smooth seat movement, am I right or missing a vital flaw?! For the money looks super comfy and quite sporty, thank you.

I liked it but it did have a few drawbacks.

It's not really a lightweight and compact stroller so not so good on public transport or small car boots if this is an issue.

The handles were too low for my DP who is 5ft 10 but fine for me at 5ft 3.

It's not the easiest thing to fold.

BUT it was good for walking and the seat was massive but quite shallow (but deeper than an XT).

I had a Mclaren buggy, but it was wearing out, so I got a Chicco Multiway. I got the Chicco, rather than another Mclaren , because ds2 is very big and would nap inthe buggy. Apart from the shallowness of the seat, which was only really an issue in the last few months as ds gradually stopped using the buggy, we found it excellent. It's a little harder to push than a Mclaren indoors, but OTOH handles rough ground better. The handles are higher than the standard Mclaren - I'm 5'8" and dh is 6'2", and we both found the handles conveniently high.

Another good thingabout it is that the buggy doesn't tip over if you leave the changng bag hanging off the handles while you take the baby out. The raincover OTOH is dire. But that's replaceable, anyway.

It is bulkier than a Mclaren and less easily lugged about when folded. If you regularly need to fold and carry your buggy, or need something very compact, then I would get a Mclaren-type with a carry-strap. Otherwise, for a main buggy, the Chicco is great.

I don't do much folding and lifting/carrying of buggies, I walk a fair bit and have large boot so the weight/size fine with me, like thought that the bulkier nature of it may be sturdier than other strollers even tho macs are great and I do like them, compared the multiway side by side with an xt other day and it looks way bigger and just comfier I suppose.
