Graco fusio.. Help!
smurf41 · 12/04/2011 19:28
Does anybody know if graco fusio folds when in rear facing position? It's driving me nuts!! Also is it worth buying a carrycot for a newborn?

Hi I don't have the Fusio myself but read a review on Preciouslittleone.com which says it does not fold with the seat rear facing.
As for the carrycot, based on other pushchairs, I would'nt bother as they are outgrown very quickly and the pushchair is suitable from birth anyway so less money and less bulk and storage issues when you are done with it but obviously it depends on your needs not mine :)

Thank you for that. Hmmmm that's a bit inconvenient but sure I'll get used to it.

I have the Fusio and no you can't fold it with the seat parent facing but it's really simple to turn around. Just unclip, turn, clip in one side and then the other. I have a 14 week old and he is always parent facing, it hasn't caused a problem. I don't have the carry cot and I don't really see the need but I guess it just preference. It comes with a newborn liner which looks really cosy, we have trouble keeping our LO awake in it!!!

Frio - Can I ask a few questions please?
Is it easy to fold with set front facing?
Is it compact when folded?
Are the handles comfy to use (material and height wise)?
Will the seat last to toddler hood?
Lastly how do you find the small wheels, are they good for a lot of walking on bumpy paths or better for smooth pavements?
Sorry for picking your brain and thanks :)

I haven't used it yet as I'm not due till august. It'll b my first child so don't have anything to compare it to really. I'm probably not the best person to answer your questions, sorry! Seems to fold easily though and gets good reviews.

Of course you can pick my brains - what is left anyway!!!
The Fusio is really easy to fold with the seat front facing all you need to do is.. Pull the handle up and then pull down on the handles whilst squeezing them and that's it. It's really compact when it's folded as it umbrella folds. It's not that much bigger than a normal stroller. The handles are really comfy even though they aren't padded and they rotate 360 degrees so are fully adjustable. My Hubby is 6ft and it's fine. It's very confident that it will last until my little boy is 3. I have a daughter who has just turned 3 and although she's tall, she fits very comfortably. I was worried about the small wheels but haven't had a problem with it. We've been on the beach, grassy parks and through the woods and haven't struggled at all. Hope this helps but if you do want to know more just ask x

There's a video of it here, posted by the Which? team.
It shows how big it is when folded up.

I have a Graco Fusio and it cant fold whilst in reverse mode, but with a quick squeeze of the buttons you can take the seat off to fold it flat or pop it on in front facing and you can fold it with it attached. :)
