Ok I've officially done my own head in! Has anyone had the swift and the nipper single? Which one is more compact? And which one is better quality? I'm use to a bugaboo, so looking for a well made pushchair for my gigantic DS who is 12kg at 9mo!!

I'm thinking the swift will be better quality.
There is a video of the nipper on www.kiddicare.com which shows the fold. May be smaller but is more complicated to fold than a lot of others.
First you take out metal clips either side if frame. Then flick out plastic clasps. And remember to push seat back fully forward or it won't fold.

Right, I have decided on the swift! time to sell my beloved bee plus Sad
now, which colour? I am torn between chilli and Flint. Is the chilli an eyesore red or nice red??

I'd probably go for chilli - but then I do like bright colours.....it's in the seat back on that model anyway isn't it - rather than all over. www.pramworld.co.uk seemed to have some - I've shopped there before but do look around for your best price! x

I rather like the look of the lime one too!

I wonder why there are no second hand swifts out there?

Maybe they're so good people just keep them and don't sell on?

Swift's are fab fab fab, I have some pics on my profile of mine, I have the lime which I love and an urban. If you get a chilli one I have a MB chilli/black liner I will stick on ebay as not the colour I want. I am finding the urban huge and for me swift is brill, even with a buggyboard and even when we had all the snow. I love love love it!!!

Oh wow, I'm impressed by your buggy collection! Hm, it does look good. It looks q small in the pic where your DS is 5 mo? Also, I've heard that the fabric at the top of the hood on the inside can be annoying as it gathers up, is this true?

The fabric does gather up, but no different than the urban, I just make sure it is tucked under the backboard of the seat (it's the extra material to allow it to recline) Ds is 14 months now and has oddles of room and is very easy to push him and dd on buggy board. The urban I am finding a bit too big so need a hybrid of the two really!
