sun shade - will a net curtain do??

I am trying to keep my 6mth old out of the sun in his bugaboo bee by using a nylon net curtain draped over. Not sure if this is adequate though and could the netcurtain make things worse? We don't really go out much in the sun but I'm just starting to get worried about him overheating especially as I can't persuade him to drink much water (still bfing). thanks

just wanted to add - perhaps I should just buy a sunshade - I just want the best for my dc and not sure if a netcurtain is adequate

I think your gonna look odd pushing him down the high st with your front room nets flapping around the pram Grin.......

It's plain so not sure it looks that bad. Maybe I should just buy him a sun shade then.

stop being so tight - get a proper sunshade

a net curtain will not cut out the UV light. A proper sunshade generally will (or at least greatly reduce it).

I used to clip a muslin cloth to shield the sun off my DD.

PS...The Bee has a pretty good hood but since yours is 6 months then a proper sunshade is best as before long he'll be pulling at it...My DD was tiny in the summer so the muslin was fine if the hood wasn't aduquate.
