I hate the cocoon - can't get it out properly. Can ds go in the newborn bit just swaddled in a blanket..? He is 8 weeks but long.

Thanks

mine did. Never bothered with the cocoon. We just got a buggy snuggle and she was fine. She was na April baby so it wasnt arctic weather iyswim.

both of mine have gone is straight away without a cocoon, just wrap him up well so he is padded

Hurrah, tried it today and worked fine. Still don't really like the P&T though but much more practical...

Thanks!

cant you just leave the cocoon in the buggy?and lift your lo in and out of it?

Adair · 21/03/2011 17:59

I tried that. Resulted in lots of swearing and fumbling. i am quite clumsy and inept though. Grin

I like the idea of the cocoon, and have used it on its own, though don't think i need to carry him asleep from pram. i don't seem to make those kind of babies...

if you unzip either side fully and fold the top part back,it shoulkd be easy enough to get him in/out??

i never used a cocoon with my lo (born in december),he was in a snowsuit,so cosy enough, but i didnt use mine for walking every dya, only the odd time.
