Anyone else looking for a pushchair that's not really wide?!

Hello :)

Am on the hunt for a travel system/pushchair and I initially looked at the Quinny Buzz (with carry cot) but have had feedback from other mums in my area that it's too wide to use easily in our locals shops.

I am now seriously considering the Babystyle Oyster as it fits all my criteria (can use with carry cot or maxi-cosi car seat, has parent-facing or forward facing seat) and is only 57cm wide but have read mixed reviews here and elsewhere.

Does anyone have the same dilema? what solutions have you come up with?! It's a real minefield and I've only 7 got weeks to go so any advice gratefully received!

I used to have a Quinny Buzz and didn't like it much. It was really big, it didn't fit in the boot of my easily and is really wide. I have a twin maclaren and I swear it's as wide as that!

I now have the oyster and I really like it. What reservations do you have about it?

boot of my car* easily

Hi, I find my Icandy Cherry the most narrow out of my friends prams and it has the same criteria as the Oyster you listed above. The Quinny is huge, my friend doesn't like hers at all. Hope that helps...

Bebe comfort Loola Up is good, it's stroller sized rather thana masssive pushchair but the seat unit is full sized.

The seat can be rear/forward facing and lays flat so you don't need a carrycot but you can get one seperately.

Hi all,

Thanks for your suggestions. I looked at the iCandy Cherry and seriously considered it, but as it doesn't have the adjustable handlebar (and I'm not very tall!) I decided to go for the Oyster. My reservations were about the front wheels and the service from Babystyle. I will make sure to clean/lubricate the wheels once a month and the shop I will order from will provide a loan replacement if necessary.

Thank again for the advice :)

My friend has a Cosatto travel system (don't know the name of it) and it's a particularly narrow one, she bought because they have a narrow hall in their house.

It's red with turquoise, if that helps. They are a lot less expensive than some of the others out there too.

It's a Cosatto Cabi in red and turquoise.
