is it a waste of money to buy a stroller?

Do not know whether to invest in a stroller for my daughter now one. I just feel that her pushchair is too heavy and bulky for days out and when we go camping we could do with more room. Anyone got a good stroller do not really want to spend more than £50.

Mclaren make the best strollers IMO. You can get cheap ones tho- depends what you want. I needed one with a lie-back facility. We use our stroller all the time.

Definately not a waste of money, a lighter pushchair can make life a lot easier for you but if you intend on using it for camping I would advise a 3 wheeler as generally stollers are not made for rough terrain and would cause more hassle than good.

The Nipper 360 is good as it is lightweight and smallish folded but even second hand it is possibly above the £50 budget. You could sell your main pushchair and use that plus the extra funds and just have the one pushchair.

If she is just one, it could be in for another two years of use.

Don't just get the cheapest thing available though, go in to a store and try them out until you find one that works for you. (Correct height etc)

Thankyou ladies been and brought a Maclaren today and tested it out up the park was wonderful to be able to get the pushchair in and out the boot with one hand! Oh why did I not just buy one at the start?

lol,i bought a stroller for the same reason,so much easier for holidays,or when i need loads of shopping and the boots not big enough for that and the buggy.

A stroller is the only pushchair purchase which is NOT a waste of money IMHO !
