Mothercare sell Combi twins and a Duolite and the single versions are very narrow so doubles might be slim...Both are 76cm which is wider isn't it??? PS...picking up a blue Vigour with air tyres on Sunday.

whoo hoooo! you'll love it...Grin

do you reckon a combi twin would work?

thisisyesterday · 03/03/2011 21:07

actually, the current ones are only 73cm... maybe it's that?

FriggFRIGG · 03/03/2011 21:12

69cm...it could ^maybe fit another 3-4 cm wider, but no more, the BJCMini double at 75.5cm didnt fit Sad

hmmm no, prob wouldn't fit then.... do you HAVE to bring it into the house up?

i did have a huge teutonia monster when ds3 was a baby, and that didn't fit through my front door. i used to just empty the children out and then fold it and put it in the car.

Think about getting a Baby Jogger if you want a side by side but have accepted it won't fit through your front door - because the baby joggers are the fastest most convenient fold and set-up - so at least if you are getting a side by side - you know you can fold it to bring it inside really fast!
Don't make my mistake of buying the Instep Nipper Double - it was horrendous to fold - more like dismantling a tent - Open clips and remove before you could fold - and once folded it was not easy to carry - no convenient grab-handles or anything.
The Baby jogger at least folded super-fast and had handles you could carry it indoors with. Wink

yes it has to fit,i had a baby jogger double i loved it beyond all reason, but,it didint fit and it drove me crazy!
DD wil sleep in the buggy so i need to bring it somewhere safe ,we live on a main road,no shed or anything, and dont drive.

(i also had the instep, the fold is awful! )

oh well looks like tandem is my only option then.
