Bet you'll be over sharpish tomorrow...Just play with it, sure you'll figure it out...All part of the fun of buggies...I was given an Aria and it took me a good few minutes to figure out how to open it up...But start with a thin plastic catch holding the 2 sides together...Probably fall open after that.

FriggFRIGG · 01/03/2011 22:53

yep...i'll be over a bit early i reckonGrin

DD is out for the day too,so i'll get to have a good play

oh dear,im a bit sad arent iSad

Nah...I'm just the same and have been since i was little...Dad used to take me to John Lewis every Friday in school holidays to play with the buggies...And in reflection there wasn't a great choice to play with...I'd love an original Maclaren layback buggy...Was one on eBay (well not the first models) but was too far away to collect...I even customised my dolls pram and dolls Maclaren buggy.

Frigg, I abused mine terribly with ds, they really hold a lot. Have you got one with the lovely shopping basket?

FriggFRIGG · 02/03/2011 20:21

Grin By the way what would you consider a reasonable offer for an air tyre Vigor 3 with no carrycot or car seat???
Honeydragon · 02/03/2011 20:50

I paid £47.00 for its predecessor the + if thats any help? It was like new as well.

when I was looking the pick ups averaged £30 - £60 ish.

I've had an interesting ebay day today.

I picked up a new poshbugs footmuff and liner for £35 today, which I thought good value for new.

And the Streety sold and is going to Germany, as long as funds clear, hope it likes it there. I cannot believe the interest it generated on ebay and that it sold in 3 days. Confused

suzie38 · 02/03/2011 20:55

That's great Smile Is the Poshbugs for your Bee??? Is it a Bee or a Plus??? I'll have 2 footmuffs and matching hoods to sell plus 2 seat liners and hoods to sell soon...I've barely used the Snunkie set as it took so long to arrive plus she didn't make it the exact way so had to send it back but did sort it out straight away...Got a few Cameleon sets to sell as well...Least it'll be less to store!!!

suzie38 · 02/03/2011 20:56

Yesterday a original Vigor sold for £36 including a carrycot...Think i'll offer £40.

suzie38 · 02/03/2011 20:57

Plus pushed a Streety in a big Tesco we have here, it was so heavy though loved the way it folded up.

Honeydragon · 02/03/2011 20:59

Bee Plus.

I need to pass on my pretty pink Butterfly liner now Sad, its a universal one, and I have a Snunkie on my Vigour. So my favourite is now homeless Sad, my be interested in hoods and liners Wink Grin, I need a new habit.

Honeydragon · 02/03/2011 21:05

They are heavy to push, even though they are light, but they are a genuine one hand fold, hence I kept it so long.

The bee however, has been a real education in maneuverability, I can now whizz round the shops no matter how busy they are Smile

suzie38 · 02/03/2011 21:08

LOL...Yes can get very addictive...Originally i was going to keep my Bee+ for DD to play with when she was old enough so felt fine about jazzing it up, but my desire to try new models means i can't justify keeping it...I love Bugaboo footmuffs so probably just get one of those to use on my Vista and Vigour if i buy one...Though i'll leave it for now as footmuff season will hopefully finish very soon...Using a furry giraffe fabric one that i bought for the Cameleon on the Vista right now.

suzie38 · 02/03/2011 21:09

Yes Bee's are fantastic to push, better in some ways than the Frog.

FriggFRIGG · 02/03/2011 21:10

oooh,im looking for footmuffs to fit the frog...cam ones would fit right?! what ave you got eh?!Grin

interesting ebay day meself...my AMBY has flown up tp £110!!! Shock and its still got nearly 3 days left! dobt it'll go up by much more though...

and my papasan cradle swing has has an offer of £60,my listings still got 6 days left but it's a buy it now or best offer,i didint expect it to get an offer yet...should i except it???!Confused

hope your streety likes it in germany...i sent some of DD clothes there recently,i had 4 people ask if id send there!they like next stuff alot apparently! Grin

your making me want my bee back again!

OP posts:
suzie38 · 02/03/2011 21:21

Only got my Frog footmuff in Navy for my new Citisport...The yellow Cameleon footmuff i'm going to sell with the Cameleon...Other than those i've only got my giraffe set i'm keeping as footmuff is pretty universal as i don't tend to strap DD in...Cameleon sets work on Frogs, hoods a little baggy as the Cameleon hood is slightly larger so you just pull the extra fabric over the back of the seat...The Cameleon footmuff has more holes to give more options for straps so possibly work on original Bee's...Not tried it on my Bee Plus though.
