M&P Skate - from birth? or need carry cot?

I think you may need the carrycot as some of the seat units for the M&P prams say from 6 months.

I have the M&P Rubix (which M&P gave me as a replacemnt for my Herbie - which had several things go wrong with it). The seat unit on the Rubix & Herbie definately advice to use from approximately 6 months and comes with a carrycot to use from birth.

I think the Skate is similar in that it comes with both a carrycot and seat unit (although I'm not an expert so could be wrong).
