I had the city twin (the 4 wheel one) with one carrycot a 2007 model (without the metal trim). It is wide 78cm though not that much wider than say a BJCMT at 76cm but it is a lot narrower than a MC 3 wheel double at 86cm.

The seats are shortish though bigger than a Pear. My DD1 was tall at 2 and fitted in it fine but walked everywhere just before she was 3 (would have fitted in though for a bit longer). I loved having them face me and the carrycot was fab but narrower than a carrycot on a single pram.

It has a good small turning circle and is good on buses surprisingly.

I really liked mine and was sad to sell it when DD2 refused to go in any pram and walked everywhere (I was using it for a second time). I now have a BJCMT as DD2 has been too ill to walk far and it's just not the same Sad

We got the BJCMT 2nd hand one off ebay (as in it's now 3rd hand!) for £175 but it was in very good nick.

I think my main objection to it (apart from the forward facing only bit) is that we only got it because DD2 is ill so not really a rational reason to dislike a pram. It is very good and the hoods with the two viewing windows in each are helpful and they do shield a lot of sun.

Still prefer the FWCT but it wouldn't have fitted DD2 in a years time even if we had managed to fit her in it now (really hoping I don't need it in a years time). So not relevant to you though Grin

Loved mine. Had the newer 2009 model. Ds3 was 2 when Ds born, he has sn so we needed something comfy for both of them.

Had the carry cot for dd which tbh didn't last her that long, by 6 months she was in the pushchair but was comfy in that though and it laid back nicely.

Ds is tall but skinny, if he was bigger we probably wouldn't have been able to use it for long, but did use it daily until he was 3 and she 1.

Lovely to push, uneven weight of dc's wad noticeable though and did sometimes make you have to use more push on one side.

Need a big boot for it in a car but is easy and quick to dismantle and fold.

Rear facing seats a dream for sn Ds and baby.

Rain covers are great until dc bigger then they are too small to cover dc without squashing them in.
