Maclaren XLR Carrycot on a slant? Help!

Hi all,
I have just purchased a Maclaren XLR Techno with the carrycot for my imminent arrival in the next couple of weeks...however, when I attached the carrycot, it does look like it is on a slant (head end below the foot end) which doesn't feel right. I have attached it according to the instructions but I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I don't like the idea of my baby slanting backwards - any ideas?
Thanks

I dont know how this works but the head should NEVER be below the feet.

Is it built up at the head area maybe?

My XLR seat lies totally flat is it a bit stuck maybe at the top/head end?

Also bit off subject do you know if the XLR carrycot is washable? I've got my eye on a few on ebay but if they can't be washed (as in the lining) I'm gonna have to have a rethink.

Sorry to hijack your thread OP Blush

Thanks for your replies - it was just that the seat was a bit stiff as it is new - now sorted and lies flat - doh!
As far as washing goes you can wash the carrycot as the stiffeners can all be taken out of the velcro pockets so that the entire thing is material, if that makes sense!

Brilliant! Mine was a bit stiff when I first used it- infact had to get a stranger to help me lower it outside M and S once lol.

I am off to bid on ebay for the carrycot Smile thank you!
