My DS is about to turn 1 and I want to get something lighter (have an Xplory) for quick trips out, taking on holiday or on public transport in London.

Am thinking some sort of Maclaren (Techno XT?) but have no idea about strollers at all.

we have a maclaren xt (had it 3 years)and love it. the recline is enough for a newborn, my large 3 year old still fits in it. It has travelled to Miami and various other places, is always used in town and still has tons of life left for DD2

an xt is lovely but still not the lightest, my fave is the quest, doesn't recline flat like xt but perfectly enough for a 1yo to have naps and easy to fold, lighter more compact than xt imo.

i have just bought an xt for my ds (2yo) and love it,was thinking this was going to be my last buggy, but now am thinking i could be doing with something smaller and lighter for holidays(camping)
i had a quest for a while, and it was fab, think i will go for another of those, hardly weigh anything and still easy to push.i tested out a triumph in the shop and it seemed nice too x
