Which single buggy to use with buggy board?

I have just stopped using my double buggy except for full days out and finding it a struggle to be honest! I have a 21month old and a just turned 3 year old. I have to walk about 1 mile up hill to nursery and back twice a day and currently using a McLaren Mod quest with a second hand buggy board. I find that I have to bend over DD1 to get to the handles and it is hurting my back too much. It is actually easier to sort of stand next to the buggy but I look bonkers and it is hard work!

I am used to using a twin twister double which is similar to and out and about nipper and is so easy to push. So I am tempted to go for a single out and about but didn't know about the buggy board?
Ideally something with a built in buggy board/step for DD1 would be perfect but not sure.

Low budget so as cheap as possible but I know I will save petrol money by not driving which I am going to resort to soon!
