Hello! I have a list of ideal things I'd like in a double buggy and wondered if anyone could give me some suggestions. Dd will be 23 months when dc2 arrives and I'll be walking a lot.

Ideally:

  • parent facing (had bug cam for dd and loved this aspect of it! Loved chatting to her on walks)
  • lie flat option, ideally basinette for newone
  • I like the idea of a side by side buggy BUT I'll be in and out of shops no doubt so concern that it will be too wide.

Have looked at tandems and concern is you can only see one child.

Not really worried anbout it being heavy - will rarely use car. Anyone know how wide bug donkey is?

Any ideas GReATLY appreciated

A Donkey is 74cm in double mode...The Cam and Frog are 60cm...But looking at the Donkey pictures the wheels don't stick out on the outside of the frame like current ones do...Which is on par with most side by side doubles as people keep going on how small the seats will be.

PS...Just measured the Cam's seat and i work out that the Donkey's seat will be almost the exact size bar a cm or so as width is from exact seat side to exact seat side...The frame isn't any wider.

Emmaljunga Twin Cerox 360 (off Ebay), or Twin Nitro? They have carrycots that fit in the seats (Quadrolift) so that baby lies flat. Really good for parent facing or reversible, swivel wheels so easier to get round shops. I managed a City Twin (no swivel wheels!) round most shops, and to be honest I appreciated the space for a chunky toddler & 9 month old - massive seats. Also, suspension is great so it's a really smooth ride for both. The hood is great too, really big & the apron makes it snug for them in winter.

hi, i have been using the teutonia team cosmo with a carrycot for just over a month now. it is massive but i can push it with one hand when ds wants to walk. it's rf and has fitted in all places i've tried apart from a local shop but my single doesn't fit in either!

Hi, it sounds like you and I have almost the same requirements, sillyoldme!

Right now we're considering the Baby Jogger City Select: here

I know they sell them at John Lewis, probably a few more places online too ?

britax dual,we choose it over a baby jogger city select.
