I have the Babystyle Oyster - paid £250 for only the pushchair - not the carrycot. Really like it. Hated having my daughter facing forward.

Hardandsleazy · 24/01/2011 12:48

Second hand? You can usually pick up some bargains on ebAy. Or doesn't the new Quinny zapp go back (nor sure on price).

Or use a sling when little- I did that and had a maclaren -worked really well

AppleAndBlackberry · 24/01/2011 15:08

I was going to suggest the Loola but it seems to have gone up from £200 to £300 in the last 18 months! So I would go for a second hand Bugaboo if I were you, I think they tend to wear pretty well and you can buy replacement covers if you want to.

Scouseem · 24/01/2011 15:21

mothercare my4 is parent facing and about 375. I wanted a parent facing option and this one seems fab and fab price.

clumsymumluckybaby · 24/01/2011 16:20

you want a britax vigour cheap off ebay, mine sold for around £50,i think someone has one in the 'for sale' pushchair section here.

it's just like the britax b smart, but better, and cheaper Grin

clumsymumluckybaby · 24/01/2011 16:46

clumsymumluckybaby · 24/01/2011 16:48

or this brand new one

AppleAndBlackberry · 24/01/2011 20:14

Kiddicare.com have a rear facing one for £170 at the moment if you were set on new.

hophophippidtyhop · 25/01/2011 08:40

I've been looking at this lately. Thinking of changing later in the year as it's lighter than what I have now( s-cross linear freeway). Don't know what they're like to drive though!

mamatomany · 25/01/2011 10:28

The loola is good for the new born stage but you'll want another before the baby is 6 months old.
I loved it when he was tiny but by the time he was out of the carrycot it was too heavy.

I've had a few prams but my favourites are Britax Vigour 3+ as my walking pram

and my car and bus pram is the streety (lighter, smaller fold than loola) which mnetters have a love or hate relationship with.

The streety is compatible with a carry cot too and my friend had a bee but still went and bought a Streety after seeing my dd in her carry cot Confused

I prefer mamas and papas switch to Sola, at least the its a one piece fold

Dozeyland · 25/01/2011 11:22

oes that parent-face too?

OP posts:
Honeydragon · 25/01/2011 11:46

Switches do, some of the old ones with the flipp handle bar were a bit tempremental, but I've heard the new ones are better.

Ooooh the Herbie is quite wee but I don't personally rate it

herbie

switch

And their is a 2009 bee for sale on preloved I think for £175

jbells · 25/01/2011 11:53

hey, just tolet u know u can get the britax B brand new from ebay for around 170 pound :)

5inthebed · 25/01/2011 12:44

This seller on Ebay sells QUinny Buzzs for really low prices. They say they are used but they are just returns, so in new condition. They are actually Dorrell who are the UK distributers of Quinny. I bought a Zapp from them for £35 and it was brand new still in the box.

I think the Buzz goes for around £150 usually from them.

COCKadoodledooo · 25/01/2011 13:56

I second the Britax Vigour 3! Sixty squid off ebay, looked barely used when we got it - still had the wee knobbly bits on the side of the tyres (looks a bit different now Blush).
