iCandy apple or peach???

Hi all, having a dilemma, had pretty much made my mind up on an icandy apple jogger, lots of good reviews, wanted a three wheeler as supposed to be better on rough terrains? (we live in the country and have two dogs)and now my mum has thrown the peach into the mix, she went in store today to look at the prams(very generously she is buying us which pram we eventually choose), she compared the two and thought that the peach was better, much sturdier etc etc... Although it has four wheels, is still classed as an all terrain stroller, the shop assistant said it is??

Does anyone know if this is true, compared on their website, doesn't look if there's much difference, the peach I believe is a newer model?

Any advice would be fantastic, I know the basic info and like the fact that both can be adapted to be a double, easy to fold, adjustable handle.....

I also know the peach is more expensive, is it worth it, or is it just a very expensive extra wheel?

The Peach folds smaller i'd chose it on that alone plus in JL catalog says it's quite a bit lighter in weight as well.

i have the i candy apple although a four wheel one and the carrycot is bigger than the peach.When we were choosing between the cherry, peach and apple the assistant in JL put them all next to each other to compare both up and in folding position.

The Peach looks nicer but we went for the apple as it was bigger and a little higher up.I have friends who have the Peach and love it so it really is personal choice i would go and try them out in Jl

As long as its the proper Apple Jogger (air tyre not the old pear double wheel) and the correct carry cot (It needs a Apple Jogger CC) then the choice comes down to minor differences.

The Apple is around 2kg heavier but has air tyres - myth of punctures, keep the tyres firm (22lbs PSI) and not likely to happen - Air tyres are much smoother ride on all surfaces than any foam filled.

The Seat on the Apple is bigger, much bigger in fact than most prams - about 2 inches wider than a Bug Cam for example.

The Peach is lighter, is easier to fold and smaller folder however but 4 wheels vs 3 on mud/grass will always lose.

Only gripe anyone I know of with Apple (apart from Puncture myth) is folding. There is a knack but unlike JL staff you don't have to slam it at all. Any good shop will be able to show you how to fold the Apple or Peach with ease, if you slam either then the cable running in the handle may over time start to fail.
