another question - pneumatic wheels

I understand that rheumatic wheels make pushchairs easier to manoeuvre, but are they prone to puncture? If so, how easy are they to fix? I'll be using the pushchair in London, so mostly on pavements trying to avoid the odd broken bottle or two :)

i've had pneumatic tyres for 6 yrs and never had a puncture!(shouldnt say that lol)
you can get tyre slime which fills the inner tubes and prevents punctures, its about £10
