cheapest ok travel system or carsea to fit Hauck Infinity

and I mean mega cheap.

DS is 6 months old and our carseat just broke so we only need one in the small size for a little while. However, we do need one that fits on a pram chassis as we need a carseat to take on a trip to Spain in three weeks. We can't hire one there, or a car, as DH's license is less than a year.

We have a Hauck base (it was a Hauck seat that broke), so one to fit that would be fine - otherwise

HELP!

We have zero budget.

kiddicare used to do hauck seats, other than there, ebay would prob be your best bet

latrucha · 10/01/2011 22:04

Thanks. I looked on Kiddicare but it seems my model is now defunct. I'm not sure if the new ones fit. I'll have to contact Hauck.

Where did you get original seat from? How is it broken? If purchased new the sales of goods act would cover you.

latrucha · 11/01/2011 08:59

We borrowed it from a friend Blush, so I'm not sure. They had purchased it for their baby nearly four years ago now, so I don't think it would be covered. The handle has snapped where it joins the seat.

Our Hauck infinity seat broke when dd was 6months (not an integral part but it was enough for me to lose confidence in it). Was out of warranty and DH emailed Hauck and they offered to send us a replacement for £20.

FWIW we decided that it wasn't worth doing so ended up buying a 0-4 Britax first class plus instead as we realised that at 6months the days we would use the seat on the wheels were limited anyway and got a mega bargain in the Jan sales last year at kiddicare.

Might be worth a go then. Thanks for that.

There are adaptors to fit maxi cosi seats to hauck infinity... may be easier to get hold of a maxi cosi seat?

SarahScot · 02/02/2011 19:03

I'm currently searching for adaptors to attach a maxi cosi cabrio to the hauck infinity. Don't suppose you know where to get them? I can't think where else to try.
